The Virginia Spine Institute Hosts a Community Blood Drive
September 9th from 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm
The Virginia Spine Institute will host a community blood drive in conjunction with the American Red Cross on Wednesday, September 9th from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm. This event will take place in the American Red Cross Bloodmobile located at The Virginia Spine Institute, 1831 Wiehle Avenue, Reston, VA 20190. All blood donations will go directly to patients in Northern Virginia, Maryland and DC hospitals.
Every minute of every day, someone needs blood. Blood can only come from a donor, there is no substitute. When a donor gives blood they are recycling life. “One blood donation may help save as many as three different lives and we are happy to do our part to help the American Red Cross maintain an adequate blood supply for our community,” said Thomas Schuler, M.D., F.A.C.S., CEO of The Virginia Spine Institute.
By giving blood at The Virginia Spine Institute donors will receive a recyclable shopping tote from the American Red Cross.
