The Virginia Spine Institute Prepares Brown Bag Meals for the Homeless
On Monday, April 6th The Virginia Spine Institute employees generously donated their time to prepare and deliver 60 meals to the Embry Rucker Community Shelter in Reston, VA. “At times like this it is important to remember those in need. We believe that it is our responsibility to give back to the community that is directly served by our organization,” said Laurie McGlynn, medical assistant and volunteer coordinator at The Virginia Spine Institute. The Embry Rucker Community Shelter promotes self sufficiency through support and advocacy for those in need of food, shelter and other human services.
