Dr. Cicchetti specializes in functional restoration of the whole patient with particular expertise involving the spine and neuromusculoskeletal systems. His treatment approaches include detailed dynamic assessment of how the body moves and how the patient interacts with their environment. He is skilled in physical therapy assessment, osteopathic assessment, sports medicine, exercise prescription, and knowledge of alternative modalities to treat spine, nerve and musculoskeletal pain. In addition, Dr. Cicchetti is trained in electrodiagnostic testing, fluoroscopic spine injections, diagnostic and interventional musculoskeletal ultrasound, and in the use of botulinum toxin injections to treat recalcitrant painful muscle spasm.

During his residency Dr. Cicchetti received several awards for leadership, teaching, and outstanding performance. He held numerous leadership positions with the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (AAPMR), and served as the president of the AAPMR Resident Physician Council in 2007-2008. He is an active member of the AAPMR, American College of Sports Medicine, North American Spine Society, International Spine Intervention Society, American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM), and American Association of Neuromuscular and Electrodiagnostic Medicine (AANEM).
