Michael W. Hasz, M.D.

Michael W. Hasz, M.D. Spinal Surgeon, Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery. He is a fellow in the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and a member of the North American Spine Society.

Biography
Dr. Hasz graduated with honors from St. John's University, Minnesota, in 1982. He received his medical degree in 1986 from the University of Minnesota, where he was inducted into the honor societies of Phi Beta Kappa and Alpha Omega Alpha. Dr. Hasz completed his general surgery internship and orthopedic residency in Detroit, Michigan, in 1991. In 1992, he completed a spinal surgery fellowship at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan. Prior to joining the Virginia Spine Institute, Dr. Hasz served as chairman of the Orthopedic Surgery Department and as Director of Spinal Surgery at Malcolm Grow Medical Center, Andrews AFB, Maryland. Dr. Hasz is a clincal instructor and an Assistant Professor of Surgery at the Uniformed Services Health Science University in Bethesda, Maryland.
