Virginia Spine Institute is proud to announce it's President, Dr. Brian Subach, was recently named as 'Spine Surgeon Leader to Know' by Becker's Spine Review. As a pioneer in leading advances in spinal health care, Dr. Subach is one of the few elite surgeons in the mid-atlantic region trained in robot-guided surgery and he is nationally recognized for his leadership in advancing the latest non-operative and operative treatment options with the goal of returning patients back to their lives more rapidly and safely.

Brian Subach, MD, is a spine surgeon and president of the Reston-based Virginia Spine Institute.
Dr. Subach is also chief scientific officer and board member for the Spinal Research Foundation and editor in chief of the Journal of the Spinal Research Foundation.
Board certified in spine and neurosurgery, Dr. Subach is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and American Association of Neurological Surgeons. He is also a member of the Congress of Neurological Surgeons, North American Spine Society and Young Presidents Organization.
After earning his medical degree from the University of Michigan Health System in Ann Arbor, Dr. Subach completed his residency at the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Subach underwent fellowship training at the Emory Clinic in Atlanta.
