Kelly Nottingham

Physical Therapist

Kelly received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Shenandoah University, graduating in 2017 with fellow VTFC therapists Melissa and Paul. She has experience in primarily outpatient clinics in the PNW and then for about a year she worked as a travel PT in Northern CA. Kelly is passionate about working in sports rehab clinics and training for high-functioning individuals and athletes. She has also worked at an orthopedic clinic in Oregon with a caseload primarily catered toward the older population with post-operative care and chronic pain. She is looking forward to developing her skills further with the abundant learning opportunities at VSI and VTFC. Her diverse experience makes her a unique and valuable asset to the Virginia Fitness and Therapy Center!

Fun Facts!
Kelly was born and raised in Virginia Beach and grew up competitively horseback riding in hunter/jumpers on her rescue thoroughbred mare. Kelly is an avid traveler, always seeking the next adventure! While studying undergrad at Virginia Tech, Kelly went abroad for six months to New Zealand, spent a month in Germany learning about the country’s horse industry, and a summer working on conservation research in the Peruvian rainforest.
