Virginia Spine Institute’s Response To COVID-19 (Coronavirus)

March 22, 2020

Although the state of the pandemic progresses, we believe it’s vital that we remain open and available to provide critically important medical care to our patients. Our team is taking every precaution to ensure that we are practicing in a medically responsible manner and in a safe setting. By caring for those suffering with spinal conditions, we help to improve their lives and keep them out of the emergency room.

While our doors are still open, we have introduced telehealth visits for patients who prefer to receive our care from home. These video visits are done remotely utilizing a secure connection. We recognize that many patients with spinal conditions cannot wait weeks to months to be seen or until the current situation changes. It is extremely difficult to deal with excruciating back or neck pain under normal circumstances, much more so while in isolation. Arm or leg pain, numbness, or weakness can become permanent if not properly addressed in a timely fashion. Difficulty with balance, coordination, or urinary incontinence may point to a worsening spinal condition that simply should not wait to be treated.

We are here for you during this unprecedented time. Please contact our office (703.709.1114 or [email protected]) if you are interested in scheduling a telehealth visit or in-office visit with one of our physicians.

Please stay safe during the COVID-19 pandemic.
