Physical Therapist

Nicki Ferramosca has been practicing physical therapy since 2002. From the beginning of her career she has focused on, and specialized in, outpatient orthopaedic physical therapy, working as a physical therapist, center manager and clinic director. As a former collegiate soccer and rugby player, she has niche expertise in treating athletes to allow them to return to a high level of performance in their sport. Presently, Nicki is utilizing her Titleist Performance Institute Certification to enhance the performance of golf athletes, as well as treat injuries. She is also treating rowers of all ages and ability levels.

Her approach to physical therapy includes manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-education and patient education, focusing on restoration of functional movements. She takes a biomechanical approach to treat patient’s physical problems with not only a focus on the direct limitation, but functional limitations in other areas of the body that contribute to the initial issue. She has more than 10 years of experience in the specialty of custom orthotic evaluation and prescription. She also utilizes her certification as a strength and conditioning specialist to create customized home and gym exercise programs.

Fun Facts!

When not working with her patients, Nicki enjoys Pure Barre, running, yoga, and working with her physical therapy students at Marymount University as an adjunct faculty member. A little known fact is that she was the field goal kicker on her high school football team...although her classmates may be surprised she shared this!
