Dr. Christopher Good’s passion for spine surgery began at an early age when his father suffered a traumatic spinal injury. This life-changing event inspired Dr. Good to specialize in the treatment of complex spinal conditions and his expertise extends to all types of spine care including degenerative conditions, athletic injuries, minimally invasive surgery, scoliosis correction, and revision surgery. Heralded for his compassionate approach, Dr. Good personally connects with patients, working together to create a tailored treatment plan that will achieve their goals for recovery.
Through his leadership and vast experience, Dr. Good is reshaping the future of spine care as a world expert in the field of robotic spine surgery. The wide-reaching impact of his innovation in robotics has transformed the lives of patients with scoliosis, spinal deformity, and “failed back” syndrome. His extensive research has shown that the use of robotics can improve safety for patients undergoing minimally invasive spine surgery and greatly decrease the amount of radiation used in the operating room. Dr. Good has presented his innovative work on robotics extensively and was recently appointed to lead an international robotic-assisted spine surgery training program, teaching surgeons from around the world the art of robotic spine surgery.
