Larry Grine, an esteemed figure at VSI Physical Therapy, serves as the Clinic Director and Board- Certified Orthopaedic Specialist through the American Physical Therapy Association. A founding member of the team since its inception, Larry has been instrumental in the innovation of the facility to consistently deliver comprehensive care utilizing the most modern modalities.

A multifaceted professional, Larry is a Certified Athletic Trainer, Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist, and Physical Therapist. His commitment to education is evident through the co-founding of Mid-Atlantic Physical Therapy Associates (MAPTA), a continuing education organization, and his role as a Lead Instructor for the Institute of Advanced Musculoskeletal Treatments (IAMT).

He is at the forefront of surgical rehabilitation and regenerative medicine procedure recovery. Larry’s approach to patient care is marked by meticulous and efficient treatment plans. He works hand-in-hand with physicians and surgeons to create custom treatment plans, providing patients with a roadmap and protocols so that they can measure their progress and achieve success.

Beyond his spine specialization, Larry has expertise in post-surgical ACL rehabilitation, post-concussion therapy, and vestibular conditions involving dizziness and balance symptoms. Notably, he became a Competency Certified Vestibular Rehabilitation Specialist, contributing to vestibular research published in the Physical Therapy Journal.

Larry’s love for sports is deeply ingrained, having played competitive soccer and tennis for many years. His athletic journey includes collegiate soccer at Millersville University, where he garnered accolades such as 2-time 1st Team All-PSAC East Conference, PSAC-East Conference Most Valuable Player, and Team Captain. Larry’s dedication to sports extends to his roles as the Head Athletic Trainer for the USISL Professional Soccer Team, Assistant Athletic Trainer for the United States Men’s National Soccer Team, and Student Athletic Trainer for various athletic teams.
