Spine Surgeon

Dr. Jazini is now accepting new patients

Dr. Jazini’s passion to become a spine surgeon stems from a personal experience following a car accident in which his brother sustained multiple injuries including spinal fractures and scoliosis. This traumatic event motivated Dr. Jazini to dedicate his life to improving the field of spinal surgery and providing patients with the care they deserve. His instrumental trailblazing efforts have reshaped minimally invasive spine surgery, disc replacement surgery, the use of robotics, and augmented reality.

Although Dr. Jazini has extensive training in both spinal neurosurgery and orthopedic spine surgery, from leading medical institutions, his first recommendation is often a non-surgical approach. 90% of his patients are successfully treated without surgery. He does this through goal-oriented spine-specialized physical therapy, natural outpatient stem cell therapy, and platelet rich plasma (PRP) procedures in which he uses the patient’s own body to heal itself.

Advocating for his patients through modern treatment options, Dr. Jazini has been the first in the nation and some instances, the world, to perform advanced surgical techniques in cervical disc replacement, augmented reality (AR) spine surgery, and robotic spine surgery.

Dr. Jazini’s care for his patients does not end in the operating room. He is at the forefront of improving the spine surgery recovery process to get his patients back to their active lives faster than before. Through extensive research and development of Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS), Dr. Jazini has proven national protocol that aids in faster patient recovery, leading to shorter hospital stays and minimizes the need for medication.

He has also served as an assistant professor at Georgetown University School of Medicine and actively presents his research nationally and internationally. His leadership in multi-center clinical trials has contributed to improved surgical outcomes. Most recently he has been awarded honors for his research outcomes in Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) and artificial intelligence algorithms in spine surgery. He has also developed a minimally invasive screw placement for use in spinal fusions to reduce radiation exposure, ultimately leading to safer, more effective results.

As a leading published author in the field of spine surgery, Dr. Jazini was selected as the Editor in Chief of The Spine Health Journal for the National Spine Health Foundation.
